Whenever I switch on my PC, it makes some loud sounds till it completely ends the entire booting process, but this sound gets even worse when it’s the winter season and during early mornings.

I am not sure of what type of noises are emanating from the PC, but all I can think of is the noise from the internal fans. The noises can be possibly coming from the power supply fans, cabinet fans or the processor cooling fan. Open the computer case power on the PC.

Locate the noisy area and pinpoint the exact fan which is making the sounds. Now turn off  the PC and remove/disconnect that fan. If it is the power supply fan, disconnect and remove the power supply unit and open it carefully.

Be careful as the power supply unit deals with high power voltages and can even injure you when it is powered off . This is because the large capacitors inside the PSU still retain high voltages for a while. Let the power supply unit lie for around 15 minutes before you open it. You should then clean the fans thoroughly using a brush and a blower.

If the fans are still making noise after cleaning, you could remove the fans, dismantle the fan blades and add a few drops of machine oil on the shafts and between the magnet and coil assembly. But this practice is usually not recommended as the fans will work only for a few days or weeks and the problem will arise again. You should replace the fans with the right specifications to be safe.

The noises could be coming from the power supply fans, cabinet fans or the processor cooling fan.

When I power on my PC, I receive an error message stating “Please select a proper boot drive and continue”.

Problem details: Dual Core E2180 2 GHz processor, 1.87 GB of RAM and a 250 GB HDD on my PC, Before my present 250 GB HDD, I had a 180 GB hard drive and with that too I had the same problem. I have a temporary solution for this — I disconnect the SATA cable and then plug it back in and also check the RAM slots subsequently. The first boot drive is set to the SATA hard drive in the BIOS. I need a permanent solution for this problem.

There can be a few possible reasons for the problem with your PC. Either the CMOS battery of your motherboard is weak or it might be dead, or there is an issue with the hard drive data or power cable. There can also be a problem with your motherboard. A virus infection could also be wiping the boot area of your hard drive. You will need to do a step-by-step analysis of your PC by changing the cables and battery and scanning for viruses.

If the CMOS battery on the motherboard is weak or dead, the BIOS settings are reset to defaults.

During windows update, laptop restarted and later it went to a BSOD. The error code is: ‘IRQL_LESS_ OR_NOT_EQUAL_TO_ZERO’.

The only reason I can think of for this issue is a possible viral attack when surfing the Internet. As your PC is  old, it could be possible that bundled/installed antivirus might have expired. PC manufacturers generally bundle an antivirus with the PC for free, but they are usually either valid for three months or a trial version. Hence, your antivirus might not have been securing the PC and a virus or Trojan might have entered/attacked your PC. Depending on the type of Trojan or virus, the PC might misbehave, throw up errors, underperform, or randomly crash. These activities are usually blocked by antivirus utilities and firewalls, which might not have been active in your case. Henceforth, use a good antivirus (either free or paid) and always keep both the antivirus and the operating system updated to prevent viruses and Trojans. Make sure to backup your important data at least once a week.

BSOD can be caused due to virus, faulty RAM, bad hard drive, loose cabling, corrupt software, etc.

Is there a way to view TV channels from the DTH set-topbox directly on the PC? If yes, what are the requirements and are there any cables that need to be attached to the ports of the PC and connected to the STB?

The Dish TV set-top box is nothing but a bypass between your computer and monitor. You need to connect the computer VGA out to the Dish TV STB and the monitor will be connected to the STB. Now you can watch TV on your computer monitor even if your computer is off . You cannot record anything though. The unit works just like a TV tuner box, which converts your VGA monitor into a TV unit because a monitor cannot accept composite video signals. The set-top box converts these composite signals into VGA, which the monitor can use. If you have a set-top box for your TV already, it makes no sense buying this set-top box as you can do the same by implementing any external TV tuner box and attaching the composite video out from any DTH or CAS set-top box to the TV tuner box. These signals will be converted to VGA and you can watch it on your monitor.

Regular set top boxes do not feature a D-Sub in/out port where you can route a computer via the STB.

Whenever I play a game, the graphics card gets extremelyhot (within 10 to 15 minutes). But when the PC is in idle mode, the card runs cooler. When a game is running, the card gets so hot that it smells like something is burning inside the cabinet.

If there is a burning smell when the graphics card is running at full load, either the graphics card is not getting enough cooling from the internal fan or the cabinet’s cooling fan, or the graphics card itself is faulty. Make sure that you have a dust-free cabinet. Clean the cabinet using a good blower and ensure that the graphics card fan is completely clean. Also make sure that the case ventilation fans are working and the cabinet is not placed in an area that has insufficient air-fl ow around it. If the burning smell continues, you might want to have the card inspected by the dealer.

Remove dust from the cabinet and ensure that the graphics card fan is completely clean.

DVD writer icon is not displayed in the ‘My Computer’ window. At times when it is displayed, I can’t access it. If I try to explore any CD/DVD, the computer hangs up or freezes. This also happens when writing a DVD. In short, the DVD writer is nearly useless but I need to use it quite often.

Either your DVD writer is faulty or the cables connecting the DVD writer to the motherboard need to be replaced. Try changing the cable to check if it works. There could also be a problem with your operating system. Use a Live Linux operating system such as Ubuntu or Knoppix to find out. Boot from the live CD/DVD and check if it works properly. If the drive works in Linux, then your Windows operating system needs to be repaired. If Windows is fun, your writer needs to be repaired or replaced. To be sure, you can also try using the writer on another computer to find out if the fault is in the writer, operating system, motherboard, or the cables.

The IDE cables connecting the DVD writer to the motherboard should be checked for damage.

Getting an error ‘Generic Host Win32 encountered a problem’ in the midst of some programs. Also the registry has been blocked and I cannot edit the registry using the ‘regedit’ command. When I run the ‘regedit.exe’ utility, a message comes up stating ‘The Registry editing has been disabled by Administrator’.

The reason you are facing such errors is due to a Trojan, which has infected your operating system. You will need to install an antivirus, update it and scan/clean your entire hard drive. To enable registry editing you can try this trick:

  • Open the Group Policy Editor by typing  ‘gpedit.msc’ in the ‘Start | Run’ dialog box. Scroll down to the ‘User Configuration’   in the Local Group Policy Editor window. Expand the ‘Administrative Templates’   in the following branch in the left pane .
  • Click on ‘System’ under the   ‘Administrative Templates’ branch.
  • Search for ‘Prevent access to the   registry editing tools’ in the right pane and  double-click it.
  • Now you should switch the status   of the entry by clicking either ‘Not Configured’ or ‘Disabled’ using the radio buttons.
  • Click on ‘OK’ and exit the Group Policy  Editor Tool. Reboot and check if the registry editor  works.
Switch the status of the entry by clicking ‘Not Configured’ or ‘Disabled’ using the radio buttons.

Internet speed is not same in same plan, Solusion for this.

There could be several reasons behind this. There could be a virus that is eating into your bandwidth. There could also be some software that is running in the background and utilizing  the bandwidth without your knowledge. Also, there could be some software, antivirus or Windows itself automatically updating in the background. Secondly, you should also check what speeds you have subscribed to and if your friend has mistakenly told you his speed of 300 KB/s. If you both have subscribed to a speed of 300 Kb/s, then your download of 60 KB/s is perfectly fine. If he is reporting 300 KB/s, then he has subscribed to a 3 Mb/s connection and his speed will be 300 KB/s, which is correct. Check if his speed is 300 Kb/s or300 KB/s (both are different). Note that the speed of bits and bytes are written in small ‘b’ and capital ‘B’ respectively. If you still find that there is some problem, you should report this to BSNL and ask for support.

There is a difference between capital ‘B’ and lower case ‘b’ when reading Internet connection speeds.

How the temporary files are created and How can we delete these Files and makes pc faster

Every operating system and program that is installed on a computer creates temporary files for its working. These files are usually automatically deleted by the program, but often these files are still present on the system, causing a huge clutter of unwanted files. Finally, these files cause a hard drive to get heavily fragmented, which in turn slows down the computer. It is difficult for a user to find and delete these files as they are never in one single location. They are usually scattered in temp and cache folders of each program. You can make use of disk cleaning software such as Windows Washer, CCleaner or Disk Scrub, which can help find and safely delete these files for you. You should use one of these utilities regularly (at least once a week) if you are using your computer every day. Once you clean out the temporary files, you should also run the disk defragmenting utility to defragment your hard drive and increase the performance of the system.

Cleaning the system by deleting junk, cache, and cookies can increase the overall performance.

When PC started. message comes " OC settings fail, Press F1 to continue"

You might have changed some settings relating to voltage or frequency of either the memory or processor in the motherboard’s BIOS. The values that are presently set might not be compatible with your processor or memory, and hence the BIOS reports that it is unstable. OC means overclock, where the values of the processor or RAM voltage or frequencies are tweaked higher than its actual operating ratings to run faster than usual. Overclocking is done to gain higher speeds from a slower computer, but if not done properly, it can damage your hardware components in the long run. I would suggest that you reset your BIOS to the default settings by entering the BIOS of your motherboard immediately after powering on your PC. Once this is done, you should not get any errors.

If the PC can’t run on the specified overclocking settings, it will show an OC error or won’t start up

When I start my system, it hangs or freezes and just displays the window with the processor information. After three or four reboots, it starts working properly. But sometimes even that does not help and the system starts producing a continuous beep sound.

If you are using an old computer, the system could be refusing to boot up due to dust or corroded components. Open the case and disconnect all hardware components and cables. Using a good hard bristle brush, gently tap and remove all the dust from the motherboard, processor fans, memory chips and other places where you fi nd dust. Use the blower end of a vacuum cleaner and get rid of the dust entirely.

Dip the brush in IPA (Isopropyl alcohol; available at most computer hardware stores) and gently try scrubbing away any stubborn dust and corrosive layers from the memory slot and memory sticks. You can also do the same where you can see dust and corrosion on other components.

Make sure you don’t apply too much pressure as you can damage the delicate SMD components and your hardware will be rendered dead. If you are not confi dent about doing this yourself, take help from a friend or call in an experienced computer technician who can deal with this.

Once you have cleaned all the components, wait around 20 minutes for the IPA to dry up completely. Then reconnect all the components and check if the problem is solved. The continuous beeping sounds while powering up the machine states a faulty RAM or a loosely connected RAM stick

Some computer hardware stores sell pressurized air cans to help clean dust from inside the PC case.

when I try to shut down the system, it automatically restarts after being shutting down.

This problem could be in the BIOS (check with default settings in the BIOS), corrupted system files (run the ‘SFC/scannow’ command in the command prompt to repair any missing, altered or damaged system file), or a heavily fragmented hard drive (scan and fi x errors and defragment the drive once a week). You should update Windows too. Most errors are caused due to insufficient OS updates. Ensure that your PC is virus-free.

Most errors are caused due to insufficient operating system updates. You should update Windows via the internet frequently.

I need to network one of my desktop computers with my Dell laptop.

In order to network the two computers you can opt for three methods. Firstly, you can use a cross cable (you can either make one for under Rs 30 or purchase a readymade cable for around Rs 150 depending on the length of the cable) to connect the two machines. The second method is using a network hub/switch to connect the two machines. This method uses two patch cords (a straight-through network cable which connects each machine to the hub/switch). In the above two methods, you need to specify individual IP addresses to each machine.

For example, use the IP address 192.168.0.1 on one machine and 192.168.0.2 on the other machine while keeping the subnet mask of both machines as 255.255.255.0. You don’t need any gateway or DNS addresses to be specified. These settings need to be entered in the TCP/ IP (IPV4) settings under the properties of the network card, which is available in the networking section of the Control panel. The third option is to use a wireless router, which can connect the two machines together and also gives out IP addresses automatically to the machines.

The laptop can be connected wirelessly while the desktop needs to be connected using a network patch cord. In all the above cases, once the networking has been fi nalized, you need to ensure that the machine names are not identical and the folders that need to be seen on network are shared with appropriate rights.

A SIM card slot located below (inside) the battery compartment in DELL. Can i use the newly launched 3G Internet services on my laptop by just inserting a 3G-enabled SIM card without the need of any other hardware?

The provision for a SIM card in your Dell laptop is given as an optional GPRS/HSPDA network connection, but it works only in certain countries, and not in India as yet. Additionally, just inserting a SIM card will not help. You will need to install a WWAN card (Wireless Wide Area Network), which connects to a cellular service in conjunction with the SIM card to gain Internet connectivity. Presently, the service is not available in India.

I would advise you to switch to a USB 3G dongle from various Internet service providers. It is relatively cheaper and will save you the trouble of investing on additional hardware. You can also use the USB dongle on other computers whenever needed.

The SIM card provision is for 3G compatibility, but it still needs additional hardware to work.

Is it possible Sony DSC-W350 digital camera can be used as a webcam? Can I use my mobile phone as a webcam

You cannot use your Sony DSC-W350 as a webcam, but you can use your mobile phone as a webcam using a Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or USB connection. You will need to install software on both, the computer and the phone, in order to do so.

You can try using the Mobiola WebCamera application, which is compatible with BlackBerry phones, Windows mobile phones and Symbian (Nokia) phones. You can use the webcam for Skype, Yahoo, Windows Messenger, AIM, ICQ and a few more chat applications. Download it from www.mobiola.com.

Use your mobile phone as a webcam on your PC with Mobiola using USB, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

The initial booting screen reads the following message: ‘IDE Channel 0 Master - HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GSA-H55N 1.02, IDE Channel 0 Slave - None, IDE Channel 2 Master - None, IDE Channel 3 Master - ST3160215 AS3.AAD, Floppy disks fail(40). CMOS checksum error – Defaults Loaded. Warning!! System is in Safe Mode. Please reset the CPU frequency in CMOS setup’.

The BIOS of  motherboard is the main culprit here. The fact that the date resets indicates that the CMOS battery has been drained and needs replacement. But looking at the FDD and CPU frequency errors, it seems that you are not setting the right values for the BIOS. Check if you have disabled the FDD drive in the BIOS and also confi rm that you have not changed any values to the voltage, frequency and timings of the processor and/or RAM. To get help with this, I would recommend choosing the defaults in the BIOS and saving it.

Also your motherboard’s RAID controller seems to be enabled, but is unused. Either disable the RAID feature from the BIOS or install a driver for the RAID controller in Windows. None of the above problems are related to the registry and hence registry cleaners can’t help you here. Your DVD drive has failed and needs to be repaired or replaced. Replacing is a better option.

The icons and the taskbar appear only after around 45-90 seconds after started my PC. Sometimes it exceeds two minutes.

The decreasing performance could be due to many factors - virus, fragmented hard drive, bad sectors on the hard drive platters, too many programs starting up in the background, insufficient space on the primary partition, bloated junk files folder, registry errors, bad or corrupted system files, etc. In order to resolve your issues, you should tackle each of these issues step by step. Run a virus check, scan and repair your hard drive for problems, defragment your hard drive, update your operating system, remove unwanted junk files using a disk scrubbing utility, uninstall programs that you don’t require, remove entries from the startup (MSCONFIG) that start programs automatically, and use a utility to scan, repair and defrag the registry. Apart from these issues, your system can also underperform due to overheating. Open the computer cabinet and clean out the dust using a blower and a brush. Ensure that the processor, power supply and case fans are dust-free. Neatly tie the cables to make sure there is enough air fl ow. Also keep the computer cabinet in an area that has air circulation such as on a desk or away from the wall. If you follow these steps regularly (at least once a week) your system should work fine.

Neatly tied cables can reduce heat by increasing airflow inside the cabinet.

The area in which icon names appear has turned white. And it changed so it matches the colors of the wallpaper

In order to enable transparent icon text, open the Control Panel and double-click on the ‘System’ icon. Go to the ‘Advanced’ tab in the new window and under the ‘Performance’ section, click the ‘Settings’ button. In the new window, you will fi nd a list of options with check marks on them. Look for the option ‘Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop’ and place a check mark in the box before it. Click on ‘OK’ and save the settings. Your icons should now have transparent text enabled.

Enable drop shadows for icon labels from the Control Panel to have transparent icon text.

CAN I VIEW AND CONTROL ANY DESKTOP IN MY NETWORK WITH REMOTE

You can view and control your desktop from any other PC/ laptop/mobile via the local network or Internet using either Windows’ built-in Remote Desktop Protocol or a third party VNC utility, but you cannot do this without setting up permissions to grant you access. The host PC should have the service installed and the client PC would need to enter the username and password for connecting to the host PC. You can take control of any computer using any operating system using a simple VNC utility.

PROBLEM WITH THE DISPLAY OF LAPTOP. THERE ARE SEVERAL BRIGHT

Your laptop’s LCD display is faulty and you will need a replacement. The lines showing up could be due to a bad cable connection between the LCD panel and the laptop’s motherboard, or could be a faulty motherboard too. You will need to get the laptop inspected from an authorized service center to ascertain the cause of the issue and the cost of repair and/ or replacement.
You cannot replace the laptop’s LCD panel with an LED panel unless the manufacturer has given an upgrade option. Check with your laptop’s manufacturer for a more appropriate answer.
To get a clearer picture of the compatibility of a 64-bit Windows operating system on your existing laptop, download the Upgrade Advisor from http://windows.microsoft.com/ upgradeadvisor.
A faulty connection between the LCD panel and the motherboard could result in poor display.

HOW WE CAN USE THE WIRELESS CONNECTION ON PSPS,LAPTOP,ETC,

You can use the internet connection username and passwords on multiple PC’s and share the Internet and the cost between the two, but there might be a catch. You will have to find out from your Internet service provider about the legal issues here and also the way it works. Firstly, check if you and your neighbor can connect at the same time and use the Internet. If you connect, and then your neighbor connects using the same username and password, you may get logged off . Both might not work at the same time. Check with your ISP for details. Secondly, check with your ISP whether they are tracking MAC IDs for Internet connection security. This means that only the registered (one or multiple) computers’ MAC ID will be allowed to use the Internet connection with your username and password. Check with your ISP if you can have multiple MAC IDs logging in using the same username and password. Also, check if there is a limit on how many machines can login at the same time. If the above criteria are allowed and you can use multiple machines, then the speed will be shared. For example, if your ISP is providing you a 1 Mb/s connection and two computers are using it at the same time, then you will be sharing this 1 Mb/s between both machines. Both the machines will not get 1 Mb/s each. If you want to be safer and manage without the above issues and hassles, I would recommend that you make use of a wireless router and share the Internet connection between other computers and your neighbor from your router. Your ISP will not be involved in this matter. You can use as many computers to share the Internet connection as you wish. One more issue that can be a cause of issues between you and your neighbor is the sharing of cost with the ratio of the usage/bandwidth shared. What I mean here is that if you have a 1 Mb/s connection and you are only browsing and accessing email, while your neighbor is downloading movies, software and music, he will be drawing a larger amount of bandwidth than you. This could slow down your internet connection id he is hogging up almost all the bandwidth. If your neighbor is involved in any illegal Internet activity, such as downloading illegal content such as pirated music and movies, the law will trace the IP address to your Internet connection and you will be held responsible. Do this at your own risk. I would recommend that you let him opt for his own Internet connection.
Use a wireless router to share the connection between PCs where a physical wire is not possible.

HOW CAN I INSTALL WINDOWS XP ON A COMPUTER WHICH ALREADY HAS

There are several ways, both easy and difficult, to install Windows XP or a lower version of Windows on a system with a higher version of Windows on it. Firstly, you will need an additional partition, where Windows XP will be installed as the existing drive C already contains Windows Vista. Using Vista, you can simply resize your existing partition and create a new one from the disk space that was freed up. Use the Disk Management utility of Windows Vista to help create the new partition. Once done, you will need to boot through your Windows XP disc and install Windows XP on this new partition. After this procedure, you will no longer be able to boot Windows Vista as Windows XP has overwritten the boot loader. This is because a lower version of Windows does not recognize the higher version and thus will not make the appropriate entries in the boot loader to accommodate both operating systems. To trick the boot loader and add the Vista entries along with XP, you can use a free utility called VistaBootPro. This utility will do the needful for you. As I cannot explain the whole procedure step-by-step in this section, you can follow the link http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/installwindows-xp-on-your-pre-installedwindows-vista-computer/ , which will help you. Note that this procedure is recommended for those who know how to trouble shoot operating system errors.
VistaBootPro is a free utility that helps manage and restore the boot loader for Windows Vista.

WHAT IS THE EASIEST AND FASTEST WAY TO DOWNLOAD VIDEOS FROM

Though there are several software utilities that can download videos from the internet, it completely depends on the website hosting the videos. If the video is available for download, there will be a link provided on the website. If the videos are available in a stream pattern, such as YouTube videos, you can use a Flash video downloader or install plug-ins for your browser, which will help grab the video streams and save them to your hard drive. If the videos are available on Torrents and P2P websites, you can use a Bit torrent client or P2P sharing tool such as uTorrent or Vuze respectively to get the videos. Finally, it all depends on your Internet bandwidth speed. Remember, downloading pirated movies and music is against the law. Ensure that you are downloading permissible videos from authorized domains only.
Using P2P software such as Vuze, you can download and share various kinds of media.

CAN I INSTALL A LINUX OPERATING SYSTEM ON A PEN DRIVE? IF YES, WHICH ONE?

Linux can be installed from a pen drive, and you can even boot and run Linux from a pen drive. Ubuntu, Puppy Linux, Debian, Damn Small Linux, and a few others can be run from pen drives. Just Google your query and you shall find many versions and also step-by-step procedures for using them.

FACING ANY PROBLEM WHILE RUNNING MEDIA ON YOUR LAPTOP OR PC

I have started facing a problem with media playback. Whenever I play a video or MP3 file on anything other than Windows Media Player (notably VLC), it frequently freezes for a moment or so. Other times it works just fine. I tried working with different versions of VLC and iTunes, but to no avail. What can be the likely reason for this?
So the solution is here :-

First, please check if you have the latest codecs installed. Also, your system should be checked for viruses. Check if your system is running unnecessary programs in the background. Scan and defragment your hard drive once a week. Update Windows via the Internet regularly.

HOW TO INSTALL ECLIPSE ON PC OR LAPTOP? HERE STEP BY STEP

In order to install Eclipse on your PC or laptop, you will need to download the 32 -bit or 64-bit  Windows version of the program. Secondly, you will need Java Runtime Environment version 5 (JRE) to use Eclipse. Ensure that your system meets the requirement and that you install the correct version on your laptop. You can download it from www.eclipse.org/downloads/

HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS XP WITHOUT ANYONE CHANGING

Though you can install Windows XP or any other operating system as a second OS on your computer, you still cannot protect your fi les from another person accessing the fi les on your primary OS partition. There are ways that he/she can access your important fi les. If you want to protect your fi les and settings from the other user, I would advise you to create a user profi le which is a standard user instead of a user with Admin rights. This will create a diff erent account for the user and limit the areas he/she can access. The only other way you can keep the other user from getting into your data is to install another hard drive with an operating system on it for the other person to use while disabling your main hard drive from the system BIOS. You would have to go through the trouble of enabling and disabling the drives from the BIOS every time you or the other person uses the computer. Alternatively, use encryption software such as TrueCrypt.

HARDDISK PROBLEMS AND SHOWS ERROR LIKE THIS MEDIA TEST

A hard drive that makes a knocking sound indicates media failure due to a power surge.
Usually, an electrical surge or a shock to the hard drive causes it to malfunction or crash. There seems nothing that you can do in this case. If you need the data desperately, you would have to give the hard drive to an expert in data recovery. He will repair and recover the data for you. You would need to change the hard drive with a new one to get the laptop working again. Try removing the hard drive from the laptop and connecting it to an external 2.5-inch hard drive casing and see if you can retrieve the data.

WINDOWS 7 WORKING WELL BUT PROBLEM ARIES WHEN UPGRADED IT TO WINDOWS 7 SERVICE PACK 1, THE GADGEST DO NOT WORK ANYMORE

As far as this query goes, you will have to try a registry tweak. Go to ‘Start’ and type ‘regedit’ in the ‘Search’ fi eld and press [Enter]. The registry editor will open up and you need to navigate to the key ‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Sidebar\ Settings’. Here, right-click on the right pane of the editor window and create a new ‘DWORD’ with a 32-bit value and name it as ‘AllowElevatedProcess’. Once done, set the value of this new DWORD entry to ‘1’ and close the registry editor. Now restart Windows and check if your gadget works normally.

HOW TO UPDATE AND FLASH BIOS OF THE ASUS

Flashing the BIOS is risky and should be done only if you know how to do it.
If your motherboard is under warranty, have it serviced by the service center. If you have not flashed your BIOS with a newer update, try doing so (Note: flashing the BIOS is risky and should be done only if you know how to do it). If your motherboard is not under warranty and you do not want to risk flashing the BIOS, I would suggest that you let the problem remain if your system is functioning properly after bypassing the error. Check with your motherboard manufacturer’s support help desk and ask for a solution. Email or call them.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE DOWNLOAD MUSIC AND MOVIES FROM TORRENT SITES? IS IT ILLEGAL AND PIRACY? IF YES,IS THERE ANY LEGITIMATE WAY OF DOWNLOADING MOVIES?

It is illegal to download movies, music and software from torrents and other P2P software. These files usually contain pirated content and are uploaded to various servers for others to download and use. If the files are shareware, freeware or self-made for distribution or if the developer of the software or owner of the movie or music give the authority or permission for it to be shared for free, then these files can be legally put up on torrents and PSP sites. We strictly oppose piracy and recommend using only genuine software, movies and music. There are only a few limited websites that distribute free authentic movies, but you will have to hunt for them. Torrents and P2P sharing is completely legal unless the content is copyright-protected.
